DECOPROCAL Cork-Reinforced Adhesive and Levelling Mortar 25kg

DECOPROCAL is a fine-grain, polymer-modified adhesive and levelling mortar reinforced with natural cork. It contains natural hydraulic lime, renewable cork granules, selected aggregates and organic additives.

It is designed for use in ETICS external thermal insulation systems and is suitable for bonding, reinforcing, levelling and preparing insulation boards and façade surfaces.

Application Method

1. Mix one 25kg bag of DECOPROCAL with approximately 5 to 6 litres of clean water.
2. Mix until a smooth and homogeneous consistency is achieved.
3. For fixing insulation boards, apply the adhesive at approximately 2kg/m², depending on surface condition and system requirements.
4. After the bonding layer has hardened, apply an additional levelling or base coat layer at approximately 2kg/m².
5. Finish with a trowel, brush or sanding method, depending on the required finish and next system layer.

Important Application Notes

• The surface must be clean, stable, dry and free from dust, grease, loose material or contamination.
• Do not apply to frozen surfaces or during unsuitable weather conditions.
• Protect freshly applied material from rain, frost, strong wind and direct excessive heat during curing.
• Always follow the full Decoproyec system specification for ETICS applications.
• Consumption may vary depending on substrate condition, surface flatness and application method.
